The procedure can last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes on average, depending on where you are being microneedled.
Luckily, for this particular skin treatment, there isn’t a significant amount of downtime. Though you may experience some redness, irritation and some pinpoint bleeding, your skin should return to normal after only a few hours. This means that you can be on your way and to back to your activities in no time.
Risks and Side Effects of Microneedling
As with any cosmetic treatment, there can be risks and side effects. For instance, anyone who may be on certain acne medication is recommended to avoid this procedure. In terms of side effects, some may include:
